Friday Dinner Club
In Chi Alpha, we love grad students! And as much as we want to spend time with our grad student friends, we know how busy life as a Masters student or a PhD researcher can be. So, we've designed a space for you to take a break and come together for good food and great community!
Every Friday at 6pm, we will plan to meet at the patio behind Stern Hall. You can't miss the orange tables! Our location will often only change if the weather is bad. When you arrive, expect to meet new people and taste new foods. Sometimes, our food is ordered from local caterers. Other times, we home-cook them!
At least once every semester, we host a themed Common Table based on a specific culture or cuisine. Some examples have been Chinese Spring Festival, Cajun Night, and Sri Lankan Night!
Dinner ends approximately at 7pm. Afterward, you are welcome to stay to discuss the Bible with both Christians and non-Christians. But please know you are not obligated to stay for this portion. We would love to have you, but our heart is mainly to show hospitality and to provide a community of love and laughter!
